Jayshree Naidoo, former head of the Standard Bank Incubator programme on 16 February 2018 held an intimate session at the Open Sandton, with a close to her heart group of entrepreneurs re-launching Youth Innovative Entrepreneurs Design Institute (YIEDI) a business which she had started 2014.You reached the view limit for this month.

Go to the administration for details. YIEDI is a learning and development organisation focused on transforming South Africa through innovation and entrepreneurship. The organisation offers developmental programs in the form of Boot camps, Accelerator programs supported by video based and E-Learning programs. Naidoo started the company in 2014 but got caught up by her work in the corporate space.
Since leaving her corporate job, Naidoo says moving away from corporate and becoming an entrepreneur again has been scary but also exciting.
She is excited to get back into entrepreneurship because they will be transforming the landscape of entrepreneurship through their incubation support, acceleration and also supplying entrepreneurs with access to market through their market place.
“The market place will offer 50 entrepreneurs take their businesses to the next level and these will be entrepreneurs that are focused on youth businesses, women businesses and high growth businesses.”
Hoping to create opportunities for those entrepreneur in South Africa and globally. Speaking at the event was Lebo Gunguluza founder and chairman of GEM group.
He congratulated Naidoo for the relentless and powerful work that they have been doing to drive innovation. Stating that with the world being at the dawn of the fourth industrial revolution, organisations such as YIEDI are vital because they will help unlock the potential of the revolution.
Also present at the event was York Zucchi the Chief Coffee Drinker, who says he has been an admirer of Naidoos work from the innovation and the overall entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Zucchi has partnered with YIEDI to ensure that the ultimate goals of the market place are realised. He says with the market place they hope to bridge gaps by bring entrepreneurs in all corners of South Africa together to establish a business relationship that will ultimately grow the South African economy.
Also speaking at the event were Thato Kgatlhanye founder of Rethaka, Hlubi Mboya Director of FutureCEO’s and Luke D Warner, CEO of IntergreatMe who echoed the same sentiments of how they were fans of Naidoo’s work.
These entrepreneurs shared their testimonials of how Naidoo transformed their lives by believing in their dreams which were deemed useless and worthless.
Also agreeing that YIEDI will definitely transform the entrepreneurial ecosystem of South Africa for the better.
